Crawfish Boil
Montinore Estate and EaT: An Oyster Bar are bringing a little Cajun flavor to Oregon's wine country this month to honor the release of Montinore's 2011 Rose, Muller-Thurgau and Geurztraminer.
On April 21 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., EaT owners Ethan Powell and Tobias Hogan will boil up big ol' batches of crawfish and shrimp at Montinore Estate's scenic property in Forest Grove, OR.
Since there's always room for dessert, resident pastry chef Jillian Mackey will serve her tasty bread pudding while Cajun blues band The New Iberians Zydeco Blues serenade from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The whole Montinore Estate team will be at the event, including the mastermind behind the new releases, winemaker Stephen Webber.
