The Gravy, the musical love child of Leah Hinchcliff and Andrew Ma ldarelli, is a stew of Americana Genres. Call it Acoustic Blue Funky So ul Grass. As seasoned performers, Andrew and Leah offer years of combin ed experience to the Gravy palette. Since coming on the scene in 2008 an d a recently released CD, NEVER GET ENOUGH, The Gravy has been delight ing audiences throughout the NW with their rootsy yet innovative sound.\ n
Leah brings her many years as a touring blues and funk bass player to The Gravy. Add this to her gleeful command of the upright bass, intric ate harmonies and warm lead vocals and you have The Gravy’s soulful foun dation. Andrew began his career in Musical Theatre, and Manhattan Trans fer style singing groups. He entertains audiences with his quick wit and charisma while laying down rich and confident vintage guitar tones. And rew’s voice, mellifluous and fluid, portrays the warmth of James Taylo r while maintaining the soul of Marvin Gaye. They can step it up in styl e or take it down low to the roots of your soul. Either way, The Gravy adds a little something special to every occasion.
